Description
Self made directional WLAN Antenna EXTENSION in YAGI style for 2.4 Ghz WLAN with regular copper rods. To optimize you WIFI environment.
Use 0.75 mm² (1 mm diameter) Copper Rods for 2.4-GHz-Antenna-Extension:
Position - Length:
A - 60 mm
B - 53 mm
C - 52 mm
D - 51.5 mm
E - 51 mm
F - 50 mm
If you want to use 1.5 mm² (1.4 mmm diameter) Copper Rods, shorten the length of the rods around 1 mm.
To use 2.5 mm² (2 mmm diameter) Copper Rods, drill bigger holes and shorten the length of the rods around 2 mm.
Just center the rods in the holes and fixate them with glue.
Place the complete antenna-extension on your accesspoint-antenna and you have a directional WIFI Signal :)
The gain should be around 10 (+/- 2) dBi.
