Bowden PTFE Coupler – ECAS Twist-Lock Magnetic Coupler

Magnetic twist-lock connection for PTFE/bowden tubes.

Parts

1. 2 x 6x3mm magnets
2. 2 x ECAS Connectors
3. 2 x Printed parts (ecas magnetic coupler)

Assembly

• All items are press fit, but might require tuning
• Magnets should be inserted in opposite polarity so that they are universally connectable

My print settings

• ABS
• 0.4mm nozzle
• 0.2mm layer height
• 4 perimeters
• no supports (I used sacrificial layers for counterbore holes)
