Desk Lamp (LED)

Description
I was looking for a nice desk lamp but couldn't find one quickly.
I still had LED panels, proximity switches and some USB cables lying around, so I designed something myself.
Led source is a Micro Usb 5730 Led Panel 5V.
I removed the micro-usb connection and soldered a cable directly to the board.
The cable is routed through the middle arm.
In the base I made a cut-out for a proximity switch. (see image below)
In the base there is a hole in the front, so putting your hand in front of the base turns the lamp on or off.
For the USB cable I just took an "old" cable and cut the micro-usb connection side.
Because the led panel becomes slightly hot, I made air vents in the head to cool by natural convection.
Printing:
I printed all with 0.4 nozzle and 0.2 layer height. Advise is to use a structured plate for the bed.
I created the different bands of color by changing colors at different heights. Colors used are PLA - Mystic Brown (A) and PLA - Blend Viva la Bronze (B).
Color changes:
Start with A
- 1.2mm -> B
- 4.2mm -> A
- 6.2mm -> B
- 9.2mm -> A
All parts as positioned in the STL files. (this to get the structure on the right side).
Mounting:
All parts are placed with press fit (taper), so no glue is necessary.
The only thing I glued was the USB cable with hot glue.
Making adjustments:
The complete lamp is shared as a STEP file so that you can make adjustments for your own LED panel/light and/or your own controller in the base.
