Description

This original design takes some of the best features from some other designs and tries to eliminate the problem areas.  It supports multiple calibers by using interchangeable inserts for different case length/weight.

Designed to be printed in 4 parts to eliminate the need for supports.  A minimal build will need a tube holder and nut, a tray, and an adapter.  The tube holder and nut lock the tray in place so the tray can be pri

This fits Lee brand tubes, will probably fit other brands but I haven't tested that.

There are 3 size trays. Large is shown in the pictures and is 200mm so it will print on most printers.  Medium is 150mm and small is 100mm.

How to choose adapter sizes:

What you want is a hole big enough that the case will fall through, but small enough that it won't drop upside down. What prevents it from dropping upside down is the balance point. If you put an empty case on a st

This should get you to a good starting point. Once you've printed one you can use the following to adjust:

If the cases are not feeding or are difficult to feed, you need a bigger hole. If the cases are feeding upside down, you need a smaller hole.

Once hole size will typically handle a multitude of case sizes, but each will have its sweet spot.  Print as many or as few as you like to fit your needs.

From my experimentation:

  • 10mm is too small for any case I have. I tested down to 9mm/.380. Might work on .32.
  • 12mm works on 9mm but is a bit slow.
  • 14mm works perfectly with 9mm.
  • 16mm works with:
    • 9mm but about 5-10% feed upside down
    • 40 S&W
    • 357 Sig
    • 45 Auto
    • 300 AAC Blackout
  • 20mm works with 223 Remington

The tube stabalizer is optional.  It works fine without it but I included it as I find it helps to keep things tidy when you pull the tubes.
