UPDATE: 7/18/2024 - I added a thrust ring designed for the Estes 29mm BP motors/engines. Typically, you would have to apply a ¼-in of masking tape to the end and trim off the excess, which bothered me. Slip the ring onto the nozzle end, apply a dab of CA glue to the top of the ring, and you will be set.

These parts are standard accessories that I include with all my Extreme Series rockets. Feel free to use them for other projects.
The Extreme Series of Builders Kits includes several models of rockets that I love. I wanted smaller rockets that still performed, so I created the Extreme series. Jamming a G80 in a BT60 body tube is… well, extreme (ludicrous may be more accurate)

Included Models:
- BT60 Short and Long Launch Lugs - sized for ¼-in rod
- BT60 Short Rail Guide - Sized for 1010 rail and will work on a BT60 body tube
- 1010 Rail Buttons
- BT60 Tube Cutter - Slips over an Estes BT60 body tube. It has enough grip to not move around, but shouldn't pinch the tube
- BT60 Nosecone - This nose cone is my favorite for the BT60 Extreme series rockets. The inside of the shoulder is threaded to accept either the sled or plug (both included)
- BT60 Nosecone Sled - This altimeter sled will thread into the nosecone. It has just enough space to house a small altimeter (I tested with an Eggtimer Quantum) and a 2S Lipo or 9v battery. The base includes two outer holes for routing e-matches and venting and the center hole is 6mm or just ¼-inch dia. for an eye-bolt (Inspired by Inverted Pursuits Lab)
- BT60 Nosecone Plug - This is the same as the Nosecone sled, just missing the sled extrusion
- 29mm Motor Retention Ring and Cap - These will fit the LOC/Apogee/Estes 29mm MMTs, though some fine-tuning for the fitment may be in order. I have used variations of these over the last year. This design should put the motor nozzle extended past the cap, all but eliminating heat issues. Be aware that if the nozzle is recessed, the cap can deform, so have a couple of extras on hand. I have never experienced a failure to retain the motor due to deformation, but I have had to toss a few after the flight out of an abundance of safety.

My preference for materials is PETG, but PLA+ will work in certain circumstances. PLA/PLA+ nosecones can get gooey while waiting for your turn on the launch pad, if in direct sunlight (just my experience). Just be mindful of your materials and their strengths and weaknesses.
