Description

A beautiful recreation of the license plate seen in Daft Punk's Electrorama.

This 3D printed model is a faithful reproduction of the iconic license plate featured in Daft Punk's short film Electrorama. Designed with attention to detail, this project is perfect for fans of the legendary electronic music duo and those who appreciate unique memorabilia.

There are two versions of this model available:

Standard Printer Version:

  • This version is designed for 3D printers without a Multi-Material Upgrade (MMU) system.
  • The license plate is scaled down to 82% of its original size to fit the print bed of a standard Prusa i3 MK3 or MK4.
  • To achieve the correct color scheme, you will need to perform filament swaps as follows: Slice your model at a 0.2mm layer height and start printing with red filament. At layer 4 (0.8mm), switch the filament to white, and at layer 11 (2.2mm), change the filament to blue.
  • Remember to disable the skirt around the print in your slicer settings so you are able to fit the model on the build plate.

MMU Version:

  • This version is intended for printers equipped with an MMU system, allowing for multiple filaments to be used in a single print without manual swaps.
  • You will need to scale the model to fit your specific print bed. It has been pre-scaled for users of the Prusa XL or similar large-format printers.
  • Users with a Prusa i3 and MMU should also scale the model to 82% to ensure it fits the print bed.
  • Remember to disable the skirt around the print in your slicer settings so you are able to fit the model on the build plate.

Happy Printing!
