Description
Base of each telephone pole has an 8mm x 3mm socket built in for a magnet of that size. (Non affiliate link here of the magnets I used, which are great for all kinds of other things around the house: https://a.co/d/fM6bUQj )
Included in my files are 4 options, listed in order of my best print results:
#1 - Upright, Pre Supported.
#2 - Laying Down, Pre Supported.
#3 - Laying Down, no supports.
#4 - Upright, no supports.
The Upright models have a perfect friction fit for the magnet, where the Laying Down models required a bit of carving away since my printer tends to make oblongs better than cylinders when printing them on their sides.
I've been overall unsuccessful with printing multiple of the upright version at once due to the minimal contact area between the top and bottom rung, with all types of supports I'll add, but the version where it's laying down duplicates across the build plate flawlessly.
