THE PURSE
If you have any sewing experience at all, this little purse needs no further instructions.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS IS NOT CLEAR ENOUGH!
Simply trace around the template, flip it over and trace again to outline the other half.
Before cutting, add about half an inch (one centimetre) to the top flat part to make it easier to tuck under later. (see below)
Cut out two pieces of fabric, sew them faces together using the perimeter of the cut fabric as a guide. Don't sew all of the flat of the front opening part, you'll need to turn the fabric the right way out so that the faces are facing the correct way and the seam in internal.
Now just run another stitch around the whole perimeter to finish it off, add a button or a snap ring and you have a nice, practical little purse.
To make the same design in leather, just sew around the perimeter about 6mm in from the edges.
PRINTING
The pattern makes a purse about 5" (125mm) across the top, but it can be scaled in either direction in your slicer.
This is a ten minute print (Prusa Mk4 0.2mm SPEED) use four perimeters and zero (0) top and bottom perimeters. I prefer PETG for this as it is just a little more durable in my view, but PLA works perfectly well as well.
