Description

I was building this case model as my project was going and i didn't want to reprint everything every time. So i separated it into baseplate that holds the board, walls and top case. This way you can reprint walls adding new I/O as much as you want.

All holes intended for inbus M3 bolts. There are tapped and threaded inserts model versions. You can also drill tapped version for inserts later. Circular holes are for aviation plugs for sensors etc. Square holes are for RJ45 modules used in house outlets like this one. Just plop them out and use, no need to solder. I've gone with RJ45 because my motors were already RJ45, i'd use aviation plugs otherwise.

The baseplate is designed for BTT SKR 1.2, but also has mounting holes for MKS GEN L, but USB hole will not align. It also has a ton of holes to attach auxilary boards (level shifters, RTCs, GPS etc). It also has holes to interface with something to clip it on your tripod. I've attached a bracket for mounting on my modified tripod, but you'll have to DIY.

Also it has a top cover with VMount plate support, so you can power your board with standart VMount (or double NP-F) batteries, just buy a random vmount plate and screw it down.

Also, there are extended Walls versions to mount ESP32 (instead of ESP-01) and BME280 weather sensor (it will be outside with pins facing inwards)

More holes:

  • 40x40 fan
  • one bog standart LED
  • DC 5.5 input connector
  • Small on/off switch
