Description
I don't know about you but I hate the look of metal soffit vents. Especially with and beautiful stained wood soffit… Well, don't compromise your beautiful soffits - make the vents with the same material!
This guide is intended to be used with a wood clamp and a ½" (12.8mm) drill bit - preferably a forstner bit to prevent blow out and chipping. The idea is to clamp the printed guide to your tongue-n-groove board while aligned to the center of the board, drill your own holes, then staple wire mesh on the inside (attic side) of the board over the holes. Air vents freely while the wire mesh keeps the bugs and critter's out.
