Description
The thread in the original cap broke, leaving a puddle of silicone grease on my shelf. To my surprise, I found no models for plain replacement caps, so I made one.
This is a simple modification of a lube injector cap from uepsie that I knew would fit on this kind of tube. I just removed the injector part and closed the cap. Praise for the design should go to uepsie, blame to me. 😉
Just print the cap with the flat side to the headbed. Use a material that resists the stuff in the tube. I used standard PLA and a 0.2mm layer height.
