Description

Use

This drawing aid is primarily designed for physics lessons, since it allows you to draw an equalization curve through your points of data very easily. In addition, it features different circuit symbol stencils. There also is a plain version if you only want the functions.

The template is metric.

Functions you can draw with this

  • quadratic functions
  • square root functions
  • exponential functions
  • (co)sine functions
  • hyperbolic functions

Circuit Symbols you can draw with this

  • amperemeter
  • voltmeter
  • incandescent light bulb
  • diode
  • arrow
  • cell
  • power source
  • plate Capacitor
  • coil
  • resistor
  • connection

Customizable

All the symbols are uploaded as sigle stl files which allows you to use only the ones you need for your template.

This is how it works:
  1. Open the Drawing Aid in PrusaSlicer
  2. Right-click on the object and select “Add negative volume” “load…”
  3. Select the circuit symbols you want to use and enter
  4. Set the z-position to 0.5mm for all of the symbols or use the “drop to plate” button
  5. Arrange the items to your liking

If you are missing any symbols, please feel free to share them as a remix of this project

References for the symbols
  • 1mm wide paths
  • 1mm thickness
  • 95° angle between bottom surface and sidewalls
