H7 Bulb removal tool for Scirocco MK3

Reaching in and replacing the H7 Bulbs in the Scirocco headlight unit is a little painful and I personally don't have small enough hands to reach in and exert enough force in that weird angle to unlock the bulb holders. Many video guides show removing the whole headlamp housing to easily access the bulbs but I didn't want to disassemble the lamps every time I need to change the bulb.

For this reason I made this little twist tool to reach in and easily turn the holders outside of the housing. With this I can change both bulbs in like 5 minutes without any other tools or disassembly! I tested different heights of the tool, this seemed to be the most convenient while being able to reach in properly.

Here's a little guide of the bulb replacement steps if you are not familiar with it:

• Remove the rubber cap.
• Unlock the holder by turning in about 30° anti-clockwise. You can then remove the tool and remove the bulb holder together with the bulb by hand. Carefully lead it out from the hole.
• Replace the bulb on the holder, then carefully put it back into the socket by hand and aligning with the hole by looking at the headlight from the front.
• I personally can lock the holder in place by hand at this point but you can also use the tool to twist. Make sure the holder clicks into place with an audible sound, otherwise there may be no contact or the bulb can pop out on a bump during a ride!
• Don't forget to put the rubber cap back to seal the hole in the headlight housing.

It's possible other VW vehicles use the same H7 holder system so you may be able to use them too. If the socket looks familiar and you have different vehicle, please let me know so I will add it to the title and tags so people can find this thing easier.

You can print it from any materials, I used PLA Tough, but normal PLA works too. It's a strong print and you don't need that much force to unlock these bulbs so anything works really.
