Description
Get rid of the factory idle speed control valve, or auxiliary air valve as Toyota calls it. The OEM valve when cold idles the engine around 2000 rpm which is very annoying when your aftermarket exhaust is super loud.
Mounting hardware is M5 x 0.8 x 15mm, although I used 12mm length with lock washers without issue.
Optional extra 8.43mm hole intended for use with a 1/8" NPT tap. To be used with an adapter fitting to plumb in the factory A/C idle up valve, an aftermarket idle air control valve, or any other vacuum/boost application of your choosing.
Not recommended for use with the factory ECU, as the engine will idle low and tend to stall while cold without some other idle speed control strategy.
Deleting the factory valve may also delete the vacuum port to the dash pot, which is an emissions device. Follow your local laws and regulations and all that.
STL files for test fitting, and DXF to send to your laser cutting service of choice. I used 0.187" aluminum (4.75mm).
