Lithophane Lightbox for BambuLab LED Lamp Kit 001

I let this website create a Lithophane model out of a picture I uploaded.

Make the Lithophane a circle of 120 mm in diameter and let it have a thickness of 4 mm maximum.

Then I created this frame for it with the intention to use the BambuLab LED Lamp Kit 001 with it.

Print settings

• 0.16 mm layer height
• support: yes - normal
• brim: yes - 5 mm and 0.2 mm space between

Helpful if you are using a smooth plate:

• first layer speed 25 mm/s
• first layer infill speed 60 mm/s

Assembly Instructions

1 - After printing the model for the frame and your personal Lithophane make sure the Lithophane fits into the frame correctly.
 

2 - Then lead the cable of the LED-Lamp through the hole in the back of the frame and make sure the lamp also fits correctly.

3 - Now take the double sided tape that came with the kit and put it out of center, almost at the border, onto the back of the lamp.

4 - Remove the cover of the tape and then put the lamp as straight as possible (or to your liking) into the frame and press it down for a few seconds.

5 - Now you can put the picture in - If your fit is tight enough so the picture does not fall out then this was it, you're done!

But if not, then just put a little bit of glue on the small ring of the frame and then make sure to wait until the glue is fully dried after putting the picture in.
