Description
I accidentally trashed the original filter holder of my Parkside PWD30 vacuum cleaner. The part can be ordered on the internet for about $30 but I thought a replacement can be designed and printed at home.
All the parts were printed with PLA on my Ender3V3. Layer height: 0.2mm, standard quality. On my printer this prints the threads very well. The screw and the bottom part should be printed with the hexagon shape on the bottom.
The round shaped cover is designed to be 0.8mm which makes it a bit flimsy. So far it works without an issue, but if fails then the height can be doubled to add some rigidity.
I'm not sure but pretty optimistic that this design would work for other Parkside vacuum cleaners like the PWD25.
UPDATE: I have this model working perfectly fine for more than 6 months without any failure.
UPDATE: I have attached the FreeCAD file, feel free to improve it
