Description
My 1974 Fiat Spider has a threaded shift lever but this nice aftermarket knob that I inherited from someone did not match. It was just a hollow 15mm x 60mm cavity inside the knob, with three set screws on the bottom to secure it. So I designed this adapter to fit.
The Fiat shift lever has 21mm of M10 thread, and then the unthreaded part starts at 11mm and widens gradually. The unthreaded portion of my adapter is flared to match.
A 14mm wrench will fit it so that you can spin it down on the threads. It is a very snug fit for inside the shift knob.
I printed this in PETG laying flat. If you print it standing up, it will probably not be as strong.
