Description
Assassin IV gotta be one of my most favorite CPU air coolers, and while it looks and performs great in stock config, I don't mind having more fans. The bracket that comes with it works, but it detracts from its appeal. So, I've designed and 3D-printed a cover that screws directly to the intake fan, making it look even more massive and, most importantly, following the cooler's design language. I haven't tested it yet, but I hope it doesn't interfere with shorter RAM modules.
There are two versions:
25mm fits standard 25mm thick fans with solid plastic frames
27mm also fits standard 25mm fans, but ones that come with rubber dampers tend to be ~2mm thicker
PLA should be fine if your system isn't running too hot, otherwise PETG would be the recommendation.
To keep the OEM look, I recommend getting a Deepcool FK120 fan that requires 27mm cover. You'll also need 4 more fan screws and a fan splitter if you want to run all 3 fans off one fan header.
