Description
I'm uploading my very first ever design after learning CAD software. I looked around for a simple log cabin style birdhouse to print, but was unsuccessful. After a few weeks of learning, I managed to make what I think is a 90% successful log cabin bird house.
Created based on specs from several ornithological sites, and a few extra hints from other bird lovers, this birdhouse fits in with the preferences for Eastern Bluebirds. It has ventilation at the top, drain holes in the bottom, a removable bottom for cleaning, a build-in predator guard (the square bit around the entrance), and a few kerfs on both the inside and outside.
Print Instructions
The top and bottom are easy to print without supports (and without brims, if you dare).
The body requires supports for several overhangs. If your bridging game is good, you may be able to avoid some the shorter bridges (the entrance hole and the kerfs) if you want to attempt to save some filament.
Be aware that the body is nearly the maximum height on most low- and mid-market printers, so it will take A LOT of filament (my print used just shy of 600g for just the body).

Things I would improve (maybe in the future)
I will add more pics if we get tenants!
