Description
I wanted an enclosure for a temperature controller that screws closed, has a switch, is easy to install the controller and tighten the braces, has an IEC socket, and provides vents for cooling.
Is the design for the cooling vents fun? Is it annoying? You decide. I was bored.
2x M3 nuts
2x M3x8 flat head screws (or just use whatever head you have)
4x M3x12 SHCS
Switches https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078JQTH55
IEC plug https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DCXKNXQ
Temp Controller that it fits (and the clones) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0152LYY0
I used a wide rubber band wrapped around the cables as a strain relief (see picture).
Print flat on the bed. No supports.
Update: Base v2.1 has a better fitting cutout for the IEC plug, recessed slightly, and better M3 nut holes.
And, Base v2.2 even actually has all four screw holes too!
