Description

This rotary controller is easy to print and is ideal for breadboarding or use on a PCB. To assemble all the parts you just need to print the files, acquire a 6mm potentiometer and glue all the parts together. After that, solder wires to the leads of the potentiometer. Do not put glue directly on the potentiometer, it is being hold in place by the housing and the lid. You can find this type of potentiometer on Amazon as a cheap Kit: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0BLC3K1XX?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-reorder_k0_1_4&=&crid=1PJXESYKA7CBW&sprefix=pote&th=1

Print instructions:

None of the 3D Models are particulary difficult to print, just make sure you use some supports on the housing and on the potentiometer to knob adapter. Also use a small line width and low layer height on the potentiometer to knob adapter. Your flow rate should be properly calibrated too.

When using this device on a PCB, you don't need the stand for the housing. The stand for the housing is useful when you use this device for prototyping, as the leads of the potentiometer will prevent it from sitting flat on the table without the stand. The box for additional circuits can be used to hide extra circuits in the device, such as for example a NE555 PWM controller.

I included fusion360 files so you can make changes to the models if you are interested in that. If you have any questions feel free to dm me.
