Description

If you need to copy the exact radius of a circular object, this tool is for you!

Place the tool against the object and tighten the screw to match the curve, then you can trace the same tool and replicate the radius exactly.

Perfect for:

  • Tiling
  • Drywall
  • Furniture making
  • Woodworking
  • House trim
  • And many more!

There is a concave and convex tool for all applications.

Before tightening, the tool has the following radius:

  • Convex:
    • Radius_Tool_Convex.stl: Default radius of 50mm, growing as you tighten
    • Radius_Tool_Convex_Large.stl: Default radius of 100mm, growing as you tighten
  • Concave:
    • Radius_Tool_Concave.stl: Default radius of 100mm, shrinking as you tighten
    • Radius_Tool_Concave_Large.stl: Default radius of 150mm, shrinking as you tighten

I've included the Fusion .f3d file with a parameter to adjust the Radius of the tool, and the Length of the screw, so the file can be adjusted for all purposes.

Printing Instructions:

No supports needed! I've adjusted the tolerances so all joints are print-in-place.

Print the concave or convex tool (regular or large) and the appropriate screw to go with it. Because of the threads, a layer height of 0.15mm works best, with a infill of 15%. Make sure you have good bed adhesion.

Assembly and Use Instructions:

Simply screw the Radius Screw through the concave or convex tool until the curvature matches the object you're trying to replicate. Place the tool against the tile, paper, drywall, etc. and trace the curve to replicate the radius.
