Description
Problem:
We recently had our fuse board extended so I had to remount my patchpanel.
I didn't want to replace wires and redo my ethernet cables.
Solution:
I designed a bracket that extends the patchpanel 9cm from the wall utilizing more of the depth of the closet. The patchpanel has these sliding screw slots for mounting.
From a design perspective; I didn't connect the 2 brackets for easy of use, Just print the same part 2x. Then you don't have a fixed width and can also use it for other devices, and you can print them on the side with minimal support.
Print details:
Printer: Bambulab P1S
Filament: Bambulab PLA Black (15g for 2 brackets)
Printtime: 35 minutes
Support: Yes (needed for the extruding notches that slide in the screw holes).
