Plastic Straw Slicer

To help in preserving our favorite planet, please dispose of your straws in such a way that they don't impact the foraging wildlife that those straws may end up in.

Just place a razor blade in the proper orientation (blade edge facing the curvy side).  Insert the straw at the filleted end and pull out the two halves from the other end:

Awful, right?  Luckily for most developed countries, most straws end up in landfills but that still may not be enough to keep microplastics from proliferating.  

Nonetheless, since I can't get you off plastic anyway, maybe this will help alleviate our burden on earth for future generations to enjoy.
