Espresso Coffee Knock Box

I recently acquired an espresso machine and needed a knock box to dump out the coffee grounds into my machine. I was concerned this wouldn't last due to the forces involved, but I have been using this daily now for 8 weeks and it shows no sign of giving up. 

Just be sure to follow my printing guide below and you should be good!

How to Print:

There are three parts to this print:

• Base: This is the main box, print it with as many walls as you can muster, I recommend using at least PETG, but ABS or ASA would be better. I can't promise this will hold up with PLA.
• Bar core: Again, lots of walls / infill. Needs to be tough and with a bit of flex. I used PETG.
• Bar cover: this helps with impact resistance. I used 95A TPU from Polymer (again, lots of walls!)
• Foot: Optional.  Print four of these out of the same 95A TPU as above and super glue them onto the bottom, or use other rubber feet of your choosing.

Assembly:

To no tools or hardware required to assemble, simply put the bar cover into the base, and slide the core through from the outside. There should be enough sticking out on each end to secure it all in place!
