Sun Shade Repair Kit

This collection of repair parts includes an anchor plug for the metal tube typically used by sun shade manufacturers, an eye crank for manual units that use a hook through the eye to turn the sun shade to the desired height, and a wall anchor for the elastic ball anchor commonly used on sun shades. 

This plug is a deeper version of the original anchor provided with our Coolaroo sunshade.  It fits ¾" (19mm) metal tube and is longer than the original to prevent easily sliding out as sometimes happened with the original plug.  The plug is designed to fit snugly into the tube so, the plug interior section may need to be sanded a little and gently tapped in depending on your 3d printer tolerances.  I used a little hand soap on the plug to help it fit easier.

The shadecrankeye works with Coolaroo sun shades.  Remove your damaged eye crank by pressing out the securing pin with a drift and slide this one on and reinsert the securing pin.  I've not tested it with brands other than Coolaroo.

The shadeanchor is a replacement for the wall anchor used by many sunshade brands that use a 3/4" or 1" ball on an elastic band to secure the tube anchor to the wall anchor.

• Material - TPU (TPU95A or softer is better but it still won't be stretchy)

*For increased durability, use TPU98A to print these items as TPU98A is more durable in direct sunlight and resists breaking better than PETG or ABS/ASA.
