Description
Project
A comfortable compact grip for carrying reusable (or one-use) grocery bags. Grip easily fits in pockets or can reside on one handle while the other slips in and out of the grip when needed.
Printing
Prints vertical on either end with minimal supports or no supports at all if printer bed has good adhesion. To save time, the grip can be printed at a layer height of 0.30 mm DRAFT. Set perimeter to 4 and fill pattern to gyroid for added strength.

Usage
Thread one handle all the way to position 2 and leave there if desired. If threading proves difficult, slide the grip along the handle while working it into position. When ready to use, thread the other handle into position 1.
Durability
Prototypes of this model have been in use for four years and have performed well under normal wear and tear without breaking. Reusable grocery bags that have thick handles might be difficult to thread into the grip.
Disclaimer
PLA grip tested holding a reusable grocery bag with 27 kg (~60 lbs) of weight. Maximum carrying weight unknown so use with caution when transporting extremely heavy bags.
Prints with poor layer adhesion may be susceptible to breakage and should not be used.
Scaling the grip up for larger hands has not been tested but should work, however scaling the grip down might reduce the overall strength of the print and is not recommended.
