Description
This cooler was designed for the Elegoo x All3DP Summer Contest.
I designed this cooler to be filled with water through the fill port on the lid and then frozen in a freezer. There's room left at the top of the lid to ensure no overflow during the freezing process as long as the bottom is filled to the base of the fill port.
The drink holders will hold a 375ml (or 12 US fl oz) can and also beer bottles, it is a reasonably tight fit but that was intentional to ensure that the thermal transfer through the plastic is sufficient to keep drinks cooled.
This is a very large design and may need to be cut into multiple pieces depending on the size of your printer.
I would suggest using multiple walls (4+) to prevent leaking of water into the infill and out of the greater body of the print.
The clips for the lid were designed with using a small piece of filament as the hinge, all holes are made to be 1.8 mm in diameter.
Be aware that with the shrinkage from the body and holder section being cooled there may be not quite enough clearance for bottles/cans and if you have any concerns about this then I would advise increasing the scale of all parts by approximately 2.5%.
