Desiccant Container

If you’re like me and drink Gatorade sport drinks, you must have the bottle caps kicking around.

This is a desiccant container designed with cap threads to match the Gatorade cap. Using the cap saves on print time and material for a practical purpose.

The desiccant container holds about 32 grams of desiccant beads and fits nicely in a typical dry box or in the middle of the filament spool when storing.

Included is a two-part holder that can be used in a dry box to hold the desiccant container in place.

The desiccant container and holder are printed with PETG, 0.4mm nozzle, 0.20mm layer height, 15% and Grid infill. The container was printed with 2 perimeters, while the holder parts with 5 perimeters.

If a Gatorade cap does not fit snuggly into the holder, try another, as I found just like 3D printing, Gatorade caps aren’t made perfectly every time either.
