Description

About

This is an adjustable belt tension for 6 mm belts with a 2 mm pitch. It has two parts and a cover. The cover will prevent the tensioner from opening and it will align the two parts. 

Part one has a slot for an M3 hex nut and part two was designed for an M3 socket head bolt / screw. 

It was designed for the Y belts on my QIDI X-Max that use 6 mm S2M belts but it will also fit 6 mm 2GT belts.

BOM - Bill of Materials

You need some M3 hex bolts (socket head). I bought this kit that has bolts at various lengths and plenty of nuts as well.

Print settings

Print the parts in the direction I have set them. Supports are not needed. 

I suggest you print them in a strong filament, I printed mine in Prusament PC Blend but ABS or PETG probably work well too.

Installation

Just press in the M3 nut into the slot and slide the two parts over the belt. Insert the socket head bolt and tension it with an allen key. Install the cover.
