A spoolwinder easy an fast to mount on a drill. There is no screw. It fits an 6mm hex bit.
The spool winder is for any spool hub in the range 50-55mm.
Choose the spoolwinder with an hex size fitting your bit. Personally, my last choice is a 6.2mm hex hole (MoyeuRembobineur-r02g - L100-Hx6.2)
I found annoying to search for the proper hex bit each time. Then I decided to print one that stay in place in the spoolwinder. Print the one that fits best in yours. 5.70mm to 6.50mm available. For a 6.2mm hex bore, I choose a 5.85mm hex bit.
Layer height 0.3 is enough. But 0.2 has a better smooth entry.
Lighting infill or no infill is enough for the spool winder.
Hex bit is better with 3 perimeters or more.
PLA is good enough.
Nozzle 0.4 or 0.6.
There is two configurations. “With pads” and “Without pads”. Take the “With pads” configuration if you fear you may have bed adhesion issues on small areas or as an insurance.
