Description

The enclosure is designed for the Heltec V3 or Heltec Tracker. The bottom part of the enclosure is common to both variants. The enclosure is sufficiently dimensioned for a 26650 battery. Both parts hold together by self-clamping.

Assembly Instructions:

  • Print both parts and the button.
  • Screw on the antenna connector.
  • Connect the antenna cable to the Heltec device.
  • Insert the button into the front part.
  • Place the Heltec device into the enclosure - the part is designed to fit snugly enough to hold the device securely in place.
  • Attach the battery holder to the back part of the enclosure with double-sided adhesive tape, making sure not to interfere with the space for the antenna connector.
  • When the enclosure is closed, the 26650 battery should rest directly on the battery connector of the Heltec device. Support the other side of the device with a few millimeters of soft material (fine foam).
  • The soft padding should secure the rear part of the device against falling out, while the front part is secured by the USB connector.
  • Carefully slide both parts of the enclosure together.
  • If the parts do not fit perfectly, the battery cable has likely gotten between the joints. You can secure it in the back part of the enclosure with a piece of soft, flexible material (fine foam).
  • It is not necessary, but the enclosure is ready for screwing together - an M3 nut intended for plastic can be embedded in the front part.
