Our local voluntary branch of the Red Cross had broken lamps in one of their ambulances. The case was cracked and crumbled, so the lamps were only held in by gaffer tape. I cut off the broken corners, designed this part from the original shape and then glued and screwed it on to the remaining housing.

The lamp type is CA-TH from the Dutch manufacturer Demco.
