Smartphone / Navigation Mount for Opel Corsa B

I was dissatisfied by the typical windscreen or ventilation slot mounts for my Opel Corsa. The windscreen ones usually fall down when it gets hot outside, the ventilation slot mounts are just too much moving and most of them do not fit in the unusual size of the Corsa B slots. In addition, they did not keep in place when driving fast corners. 

My solution was to create this one, which can be clipped to the bumper at the passenger seat. The lid of the glovebox is keeping it in place firmly, yet also with the lid open it does not fall down.

The photo is showing an older version with a dedicated case for one specific phone model, yet the principle of the ball mount is same. You just need to print one suiting your phone, or just buy one having a mount ball of ~ 16mm in diameter.

Update: 

After one year in use I plan a redesign, due to the lack of stability using PETG when exposed to heat. One simple option could be the use of ABS instead, but I did not test yet.
