2022 FORD F-150 Lightning Tail Gate Emblem Fridge Magnet

When Ford announced their new, all electric truck/ute, the2022 F-150 Lightning, I instantly wanted one. After looking for a new truck/ute for the last few years, nothing took my eye until now.

Ford went beyond building an all-electric F-150, they created the smartest, most connected F-150 Ford has ever built, and has honestly impressed me and many others. Sure, it will not be perfect, but what car is, no car is, there is always room for improvement.

To celebrate, and to hold my calendar to my fridge with the presumed release date of the Lightning, I took it upon my self to be the first person to take all the images of the tailgate emblem from the Lightning and reproduce a fridge magnet to scale off of the images.

After much work, this emblem can be 3d printed, with or without magnets, with tolerances allowing for the pieces to fit comfortable together, with the aid of a little drop of superglue here and there.

A print file has also bee supplied where the printer will pause at a pre-set height so that four 10x2mm round magnets can be dropped into place, print can resume, and the magnets will be hidden within the print, allowing for a clean finish to this print.

Alternatively, you can print with the file that requires no magnets for just a cool emblem, or less than ideal paper weight.

You could even print this in PETG, ASA or ABS filament and magnetically attach it to your Ford F-150 now.

All parts can be printed without supports and without brims.
