Description
I grow vegetables in plant pots and needed a way to provide water without just dumping it on the top of the soil.
There is a file for a cap that is also good for checking the fit.
The Drain-sleeve helps with getting the water into the soil and not get soil in the tapered spout.
I used a large screwdriver to create the hole for the sleeve in the soil, this also creates a path for the water to go down.
The spout has a small hole in it to let air in. When the water in the sleeve reaches the hole the water is stopped.
Without the hole the water didn't drain.
NEW VERSION: Spout-V2-P1-POS.stl Has better thread match for the latest Coffee mate creamer bottles. I think I used some very old bottles for the Original file.
Threads ON much easier now.
The STL files are in the print configuration I used.
I printed the parts with the following settings....
PLA filament
0.4mm Nozzle
.2mm layers
3 walls
20% infill
Support Touching Build plate only – support needed for the spout only: Support Overhang Angle 70 degree
Support Pattern used: Lines
