7582 3M Replacement Inhalation valve

The functionality depends a lot on your individual print settings & maerial choice. So make sure to test this replacement part from time to time to ensure its functionality! (more about that later in the describtion)

I'm only uploading this particular spare part because it poses no direct danger. After all, even without a valve, the air continues to pass through the filter and only reduces its durability.

Print instructions:
Use a flexible material like (dry) TPU (soft- medium).
0,2 mm layer height is fine!
I used the fan at 100% above the second layer since this part is very tiny.
If you print several of this valves I recommend printing them sequentially.

Valve Test:
To test the functionality of this valve install it (if available add an original one on the other side as comparison), block the breath opening (see picture) and exhale.

It should now be much more difficult to breathe out! However, it is completely normal for some air to escape. Also with the original valves.

These valves only serve to keep the moisture in the breathing air out of the filters and do not have to withstand any great loads.
