Adapter to fit older model Braun Multiquick 7 attachments to the newer Multiquick 9 hand blender. Just buy the basic unit so no need to buy extra attachments.
My old hand blender gave out and is no longer servicable. The attachments are still usable. The newer blender has different fittings so they can't be used. However, the sockets for both models have the same shape, size and position. I designed this hack so I can repurpose my older attachments to work with the newer model.
Photos shown on my imgur album shows the steps I made to complete the hack.
You will need to print the sanding block, use double sided tape to attach sand paper and grind out the old attachment so the new blender will fit.
Also print a low infill "template" of the adapter (in-design support included so please remove before using) so you will know how much to take out.
As you sand away the old attachment, test fit the blender until it can latch on. When so, you can fit the new adapter.
Print a stronger full wall version in ABS or PETG (adapter.stl has in-built supports so don't forget to remove it before fitting). It should be a tight fit but you can use a strong glue like B7000 to permanently bond it.
