Description
This is my remix of the Octo Compass by Pchelkaa. See differences section for detailed changes.
Long story short, I made it smaller and changed lots of things to make it print nicely on a multi-color printer. I also did away with the paper graphics glued on the dial and control panel, in favor of physical printed graphics.
You'll need an M3 lock nut and an M3 x 12mm socket head cap screw for assembly.
To secure the needle, I set the needle on the spindle, and quickly softened the spindle with a torch, and then used a pointed center punch to flair the tip of the spindle while it was still soft. Alternatively, you could probably use a soldering iron instead.
