Description
I needed a ceiling mount for a WiFi access point and OEM mounts were unavailable, so I made my own. It works flawlessly with Netgear WAC-720, WAC-730 and WAC-740 access points, and can be scaled and/or remixed to work with many other devices.
To assemble, glue the clip to the recess in the bottom part. In the original design, I tried to print the bottom & clip as one part but could not achieve the definition needed for crisp engagement of the latch. Printing the clip on its side and gluing it works much better.
The bottom mount attaches to the device, the top is screwed to the ceiling. Slide your device onto the bracket until it clicks and you're good to go. To release, gently press the clip and slide off. It actually works easier than the original bracket.
