Description
Bowden passthrough for the Original Prusa Enclosure using the quad version of the magnetic connectors.
I used:
The reason why I chose the quad version is because I can switch the poles for the magnets CCW (N-S-N-S) so that I make the same connectors and I can guarantee they will always connect to each other. Also, they are 33% stronger of a connection.
I used PETG for the passthrough. I intend to use TPU for the gasket, but didn't do that yet. The gasket is required (even if it isn't PETG) in order for things to line up correctly. Also, the center is a little offset, so make sure the holes line up nicely. Lastly, you can insert the m3 nuts and pull them through with an m3 bolt. I used m3x6 bolts to connect the two pieces.
