Description
This is my knob design for a Nerdy Gurdy.
It is comprised of 2 parts which screw together near seamlessly. You can barely see the seam, and can't feel it with your fingers. You can barely even feel it with your fingernail.
It only needs 1 bearing, which is inserted into the outer knob, and then held in place by the inner part, once it's screw in.
The knob should be printed with the sphere side down, which requires supports of course. I recommend printing at most .15mm layer height, in order to get decent resolution on the printed threads.
This was designed with my fscad framework.
