Ninja CreaMi Insulated Tub Cozy (thermos)

A handy thermos cozy thing for Ninja Creami containers. Dual wall design with a large air gap in between for proper insulation.

• Keeps ice cream tubs cooler and ice-creams unmelted significantly longer
• Prevents water condensation and drips on the outside
• No cold and wet hands from holding to the frozen container
• compact and formfitting design for better seal and easy transport in cooler boxes

Originally I just wanted something simple to prevent water pooling on my table under the ice-cream tub due to all the condensation. Since after some searching i didn't find any suitable cozies for the tub, I decided to create a properly designed insulating one tha fits around the tub nicely. 

Now i can also take some ice-cream to the beach with just a small cooler bag and a cold pack. :)

19.8.2024 - Added a version of the normal size cozy with a handle and a separate handle model that can be added to the deluxe version inside a slicer

Printing

• recomended material - PETG or similar (PLA should be ok if not dropped)
• recomended colour - White or other light colour (reduces radiative heat transfer)
• perimeters - 2 (maximise the insulating air gap by not making the walls overly thick)
• infill - cubic (should prevent most convective heat transfer inside and create separate air “pockets”
• infill % - 15% (seems to have a good balance of separated air pockets without too much contact between the inner and outer layers)
• (If printing a version with a handle) It is recommended to set perimeters to 3-4 in the handle area with a modifier volume to ensure durability

The insulation capabilites could probably be improved even further by optimising infill setting and possibly by material choice.
