Description
This is a simple lightbar with tilt regulation that goes on the back of the monitor to light up the wall behind it. The 2 rods (part a and part b) are connected with a 20mm m3 bolt and a hex nut. The LED strip is mounted with double sided tape. The assembled bar clips into the base part. The base mounts to the cap using 2 6mm m3 bolts and 2 hex nuts. Then the cap goes on the leg of the Dell P2715Q monitor stand.
The rods are provided in 2 lengths. The original 600mm and a shortened version for standard 210/220mm printers.
The LED strip used is about 60cm of a 5V, 6000K, 3.6W/m strip connected directly to the USB hub in the back of the monitor. This should be just under the maximum 0.5A for standard USB port.
Other mounting solutions would be needed for different monitors. The distance between the mounting holes is 30mm. I'm sure you can come up with something!
