A glucometer is an essential tool for monitoring a patient's blood glucose levels, making it a must-have in any realistic clinical simulation. However, using a real glucometer in training isn’t always practical or necessary. That's why I’ve designed a 3D printable model of a glucometer specifically for simulation. It’s a cost-effective, safe, and simple way to enhance the realism of your training without overspending.

This model not only looks like the real thing but also includes a customizable screen. You can write the simulated glucose level directly on the screen using a marker, or you can use a sticky note or sticker to display the reading. If you write on the model, it can be wiped clean with an alcohol wipe, making it reusable and adaptable for different scenarios.

By incorporating this model into your simulations, students can practice essential skills, like measuring blood glucose, in a realistic yet controlled setting—without needing actual medical equipment.

Important reminder: This is a simulated device and does not measure blood glucose levels. It’s meant for educational use only.
