Sunfish sailboat mast bottom cap

The sunfish sailboat is a popular option for someone wanting to learn how to sail. It is a small dinghy that can capsize but can also be righted by one person. The mast and spars are made of aluminum which is lightweight and makes it easier to right it, but not if filled with water, so those items should be capped to prevent turtling (turning completely upside down) and making it more difficult to right. 

A cap costs $22 and when restoring a 50-year-old sunfish, there are better places to spend the money :).
