Carpuride W702 Sun shield

The sun shield for these devices is very shallow, and in direct sunlight from above tends to make it difficult to see the display even at full brightness. Although this design is far from perfect I was able to use Tinkercad to design it. Many test prints were made to get the angles as close as possible to fit over the factory display and sun shield. I printed this in ASA filament and attached it with 3m automotive double sided tape.

The double sided automotive tape will be placed along the back edge or “lip” and mounted on the back.
