Fishing rod support you need

If you are into method feeder fishing you know how important is to have a good quality of front support for your fishing rod.

I've designed two versions: one standard single-piece and the second one with additional padding from TPU (or any other flexible material).
Both versions of the rod supports have integrated "standard fishing" thread (3/8" with 20 turns) so you can mount it as an accessory to all of your sitting box arms and legs available on the market.

The thread is as good as it can be 3d printed ;) Be gentle while mounting to not overtighten it.

Recommended print settings:

rod support material: PTEG or any better, for example, PTEG+GF/+CF;
print supports: YES
layer height: 0.12mm - the lower the better for the thread quality
wall loops: 7 or more

padding material: FiberFlex, TPU, or any other soft material - for better protection of your fishing rod;
layer height: 0.2mm

Changelog:

• V2 / 26 September 2024: fixed thread - previously it was cutout on top&bottom, now it is smaller and the support fits better

• support with a place for the metal thread/bolt/insert
• support with a round&hexagonal hole for custom mounts
• support with an integrated plug for holders with the quick-release sockets offered by Matrix,  Preston, Robinson, and other companies
