Description
We have white fly problems and disposable sticky traps generate a lot of waste. I needed something like the Randco Sticky-Matic 2000, but instead hangs on a wire by our grape vines. This model has a large overhang, and three separate wire tie holes, that should work with most times of garden/vineyard wire or other supports.
Notes:
Stay-sticky glue (PSA) is expensive. Some recommend honey, but that attracts bees. I'm currently using either WD-40 (spray) or 80W gear oil. Spread a thin layer on both sides and (as you see in the photo) both versions seem to catch white flies. Wash in soapy water and reuse.
