Filament Sample Spool (honeycomb)

This is a spool for 50-100g 1.75mm filament samples such as the ones included in MakerBox subscriptions (version A also fits the original zipper bags) ;)

I have also included a spool for 150-200g 1.75mm filaments such as cleaning and high density which tend to be sold in small quantities or larger samples.

The design is inspired by the Prusament filament spools but redesigned from scratch for much smaller size.

There are included holes for one end of the filament (2mm) to help with the initial wrap but should be loose enough to allow the end to slip out when the filament is running out during print.

You can use any of the honeycomb holes on the sides to hold the loose end of the filament when not in use.

For 50-100g use:
